Had my manticore out at a new permission today here in western Pennsylvania. I wasn’t really expecting to find anything of this age at the spot but it wasn’t totally surprising considering it being a very old heavily farmed area right. I got a great high tone signal, dug this coin I could tell was silver instantly, but it was smaller than a US quarter but bigger than a dime. I got my spray bottle out and sprayed the dirt off and it was a 1782 Spanish 1 real! I was stoked! I also found some wheat cents, a 1943 Mercury dime and a token at this spot. Can’t wait to go back.
