I was out doing some detecting one morning, tried a new spot found a few silver dimes and some wheat cents. On the way home I stopped at a sports field I’ve exhausted all the high tones at with my equinox and manticore over the years. I decided to start digging some low tones. I got a nice 29 target ID on the manticore. Flipped my plug out and saw the stone, I knew for it to hit that low it had to be gold. I sprayed it off and saw 10k, it was a 1980 high school class ring, and on the inside and a name engraved. It is 10k white gold and weights 16.2 grams. I did some research and reached out to the owner which lives in another state now, long story short.. he did not want the ring back, so finders keepers for me!
