Eric Danis
C&T — Canada
Bio
Eric started metal detecting in 2009 after a co-worker mentioned his detecting outing and showed me his finds. He was pretty fascinated by the idea of recovering lost items and spoke to his wife Laurie about it. That same week she told Eric about an advertisement for a used detector for sale. He never expected this purchase would change his life the way it did. It became a hobby enjoyed by his entire family. They started reading about our local history and exploring areas I never knew existed. The hobby quickly became a passion, and the finds started flowing, including a two-tanged crescent knife from around 3500 BC and French Biscayne trade axes from around the 1600s.
